The Nevada Association of School Administrators (NASA) started our Non-Profit organization dedicated to promoting the next generation of educators in Nevada by providing scholarship opportunities to local students who are committed to making a positive impact in their communities through teaching. We believe that every child deserves a high-quality education, and we are committed to supporting the development of skilled and compassionate educators who are committed to meeting the diverse needs of Nevada's students. Through our scholarship program, we aim to remove financial barriers and support the professional growth of aspiring teachers, ultimately strengthening the education system and empowering our future leaders.
OUR PURPOSE
“To identify highly effective teacher pipeline programs to support students and paraprofessionals currently in Nevada so that they will be retained in Nevada, obtain post secondary education in Nevada, teach in Nevada and to be comprehensively supported in their teaching success in Nevada.”
OUR VISION
For Nevada to have a sustainable pipeline of qualified teachers, so our state can lead the nation in K–12 student-teacher ratio.
